Your profile

You are a culture, culture management, humanities or musicology student and have ideally already gained some experience in public relations.

You have sound written skills, know how to use the most common software and your spoken and written English is of the highest standard. You are well organised, demonstrate flexibility, strong communication skills and a high level of engagement.

Your role

You will gain a rounded image of all aspects of working in our agency for international composers and will be actively involved in all aspects of our work. This includes:
· Liasing with the artists
· Project management
· Organisation of and assistance at studio recordings and concerts
· Exhibition, conception and organisation
· Office administration
· Researching film production companies, PR agencies, and concert and event organisers, and initiating contact with them accordingly
· Development of our address database 
· Development of press and newsletter mailing lists
· Fundraising
· Typo3 website maintenance
· PR

 

What we are offering

The opportunity to form part of a small team collaborating with internationally renowned composers such as Matthew Herbert, Federico Albanese, Burak Özdemir, Mocky, and Matti Bye, all of whom are developing projects for concert halls, festivals, operas, theatres, museums, galleries and film productions.

 

Period beginning: Mid August / start of September 2017 and later

Location: Berlin

Type of engagment: Internship (no remuneration)

Work hours: Full Time

Duration: not less than 3 months
